Importance of Eye Exams at an Early Age

The American Optometric Association (A0A) recommends to have your child get an eye exam as soon as the age of 6 months old. The sooner a visual problem is diagnosed, the better the prognosis will be for the child’s future. Visual problems such as nearsightness or farsightedness not only can cause improper development but also impairment in the child’s learning.
